TELENET 2 Technology

In 2003, all TELENET 2 sites installed Polycom video conference equipment and large monitors. The new equipment is capable of ISDN or IP conferencing; however, not all sites are IP ready.
  • ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) connectivity
    All 25 TELENET 2 sites at 128K
    Manhattan - up to 384K

  • IP (Internet Protocol) connectivity
    Manhattan Hays Arkansas City Wichita Emporia
    Great Bend Salina Marysville Chanute

  • Bridge - Accord (new 2003)
    ISDN and/or IP connectivity
    Configured for two conferences and can be adjusted as necessary
    Conference 1 = 22 ports
    Conference 2 = 10 ports
